LOTTIE BY INDUSTRY / E-COMMERCE

E-commerce Lottie Animation

Motion for storefronts, marketplaces and commerce products: explain features, acknowledge customer actions and show transaction status while keeping checkout responsive.

E-COMMERCE PRODUCT MOTION

Make the next step clear.
From product to checkout.

Checkout feedback, product benefits and marketplace dashboards. Start with a web animation set from $500. Choose the user action and intended response first; the technical format follows the requirements of the product.

Acknowledge a product action

A brief response can show that an item or option was selected. Keep the state in the interface as well, so the shopper does not have to catch a fleeting animation to know what happened.

Confirm a completed action

Use confirmation motion after the relevant system response. A payment-success animation is a visual treatment, not evidence that funds were accepted or an order was fulfilled.

Explain a marketplace product

For seller tools and marketplace dashboards, focus on what changed in the interface. A short product film can explain the broader offer outside the live checkout flow.

Plan for the real environment.

Protect the customer’s ability to compare information and complete the task. Motion should not change prices, imply stock scarcity or display a successful purchase before the product has confirmed it. Keep essential text readable, reserve media space and offer reduced-motion behavior.

From brief to handoff.

01 / DEFINE

Agree the screen, audience, action and intended response.

02 / REVIEW

Review the visual direction and motion in context with approved assets.

03 / DELIVER

Prepare agreed files, trigger notes, fallback behavior and implementation checks.

The proposal defines timing and review points after the assets and target platform are understood. A starting price does not mean every integration, source-file requirement or complex scene fits the same scope.

What to include in your brief.

Share the storefront or marketplace context, the action to explain, the approved UI and where the animation will be embedded. Include desktop and mobile states, brand rules, accessibility expectations and any performance limits defined by your development team.

Bring one or two references and describe what you want to borrow from them: pacing, a way to explain a state, a visual tone or a type of interaction. References are discussion material; client artwork is not licensed for reuse simply because it appears in this portfolio.

For a documented client project, read the Bargoss marketplace and promo case study.

E-commerce animation FAQ

Are these examples from an e-commerce client?

They are original portfolio animations selected for relevant subject matter and behavior. They are not attributed to a particular sector client unless a separately linked case study establishes that connection.

Is Lottie always the right format?

No. Lottie can work well for suitable interface and illustration animation. A detailed product film may be better delivered as video; simple state changes can use SVG or CSS.

What is the starting price?

A web animation set starts at $500. Final scope, number of scenes, supplied assets, delivery formats and review rounds are confirmed in a written proposal.

Can the animation match our product?

Yes. Share the approved brand and interface assets. Studio color previews are a reference for discussion; a commissioned animation is scoped around your own product.

Compare Lottie, GIF, MP4 and Rive, review performance practices, or use the estimator to plan a starting range.

Original work to explore.

Selected from the existing studio by subject and use case. Use them to discuss a visual direction for your own commerce product.
